We usually take on a complete production - from 3D preproduction to animation, right through to render and comp and rough edit - for animated television series, animated feature films, prerendered game cinematics, television commercials and visual entertainment for theme parks.







Blowfish's talented artists always work within their area of expertise to ensure that we have a solid production pipeline. All our departments are linked by a robust proprietary project management and asset tracking software. We use Autodesk Maya for animation, and use several in-house developed tools to do what we want to do, following a very 'out of the box' approach, including a widespread use of open-source software as well, throughout all departments. Unlike most other studios who function as factories, our artists are given a fair amount of creative freedom to get the desired results. We also have in-house 2D animators who conduct pose and figure drawing classes for our 3D animators, and whenever possible, we bring in eminent theater personalities to conduct acting classes.
